tourism operators or properties. Web site visitors can browse listings
according to location, business type, recreational interest, amenities
etc.
Secure,
user friendly, capable of handling a complex and growing catalog of
listings, the Tourism Database can be customized to meet your specific
needs. Listings, categories, sub-categories and items can be added,
changed or deleted.
Create
a database entry for each tourism operator. Tourism Website Builder
will then create and display a colorful listing on your Web site based
on the information in the database. Listings are complete with photos,
contact info, services offered and active e-mail and Web links. All
listings are created from a common design template.
Assign
each listing to multiple database categories. These categories determine
where and when the listing will appear, and to return appropriate matches
on visitors' searches. Categories can include location, accommodations,
tour operators, activities, arts & culture, attractions and events,
etc. Add sub-categories that can further define the viewers searches.
I.e.: type of accommodations, setting, amenities offered, seasons of
operation, price, etc. Each sub-category can be assigned specific items.

Multi-Tier Listings:
This add-on to the Multiple
Properties Tourism Database was designed specifically for organizations
who wish to offer or sell listings to their members or advertising customers
according to a multi-tiered buy-in.
While the
Multiple
Properties Tourism Database enables you to create a single tier
of listings sharing the same design template, the Multi-Tier Listings
is an add-on module that allows you to create up to three levels of
listings, each with unique display characteristics - Bronze, Silver,
and Gold. Listings can be designated to display according to the tier
of membership buy-in. I.e.: A Gold listing will display more information
and photos than a Silver. A Bronze listing displays less info and features.
Banners & Display Advertising:
Present advertising banners and display ads on your Web site. Ads are
automatically displayed in rotation. Manage the start and end date of
each ad campaign. Specify the 'weight' of each campaign by increasing
or decreasing the frequency of appearance.
Membership/Customer Management:
This add-on
module lets you turn your Multiple
Properties Tourism Database (single or multiple tiers) into a
powerful system for managing the sale and renewal of the members/customers
who have listings on your Web site
Simply
designate a renewal date for each member or customer in your database
and Tourism Website Builder will automatically handle renewal reminders.
Sixty days in advance of expiration, an e-mail notification is automatically
sent to both the member and the site administrator. If not renewed within
30 days another reminder is automatically sent. Upon expiration a final
notification is sent and the listing will be suspended from appearing
on the Web site This module can be integrated with the optional Contact
Management System or the full featured Corporate Communication System,
so you can employ advanced e-mail and communication options with your
membership.
On-line
Membership Application:
An add-on to the Multi-Tiered Membership Module that lets you accept
membership applications on-line. A dynamic web page will display information
on each tier of membership. The prospective member chooses a tier. A
form will appear that contains the fields used in the Tourism Database
for the selected tier. Certain fields that are used for internal purposes
only may be excluded for viewing, at your discretion. Registrants fill
in the blanks and then submit the form. The form is immediately entered
into the database - saving your staff the work of having to manually
enter the information.
You are
notified by e-mail when a new membership application is submitted. New
submissions are automatically designated as 'pending'. Once you have
approved the memberships simply re-designate them as 'current'. The
new registrant will then appear on the Web site and be available for
e-mail marketing and membership management.
On-line Payment:
An on-line payment option can be added to your Membership/Customer Management
Module or your On-line Membership Application that will allow applicants
to pay for their membership, or renew their membership, by credit card
at the time of submission. A secure server will accept the payments
and immediately notify you by e-mail that a payment has been received.
No sensitive credit card information is sent in the e-mail notification.
You retrieve the information securely through Tourism Website Builder
so that you may process the credit card.
On-line
Surveys:
Survey your Web visitors and view the results in real time. Create and
post surveys. Results are tabulated immediately and presented privately
to the site administrator or publicly on-line. Features statistical
reporting and color graphing.
Discussion
Board:
The Discussion Board is a threaded forum that can be used for a variety
of purposes. Answer questions and comments from Web visitors. Share
ideas and experiences between users. Post important community or business
events. It can be open to the public or visible only to those Discussion

Postcards:
The 'Send a Post Card' feature allows visitors to build and send an
electronic e-mail post card to their friends. The Electronic Postcard
module lets you upload as many as 10 photos to create an assortment
